Controlling your personal information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:
Photos
@dmire publishes photos and videos from events and other activities on the website, in newsletters, in print and on social media. Participants at our events automatically grant us permission to use photos taken at the event. We continuously use photos and videos taken at our events in print and digital media with the purpose to disseminate knowledge and provide information on content, cases and activities. @dmire only publishes harmless images of people. The criterion for publication is that people on photos may not reasonably feel exhibited, exploited or violated on the basis of a normal consideration.
When you order an event with @dmire, you automatically give your consent for @dmire to use photos and videos taken of the participants of the event at the signature of the order form (Bestelbon/Bon de commande). If a participant wishes a published image to be removed, @dmire can be contacted and the image will be removed as far as possible.
If the people being photographed are unrecognizable, e.g. if they have their back to the camera, or they appear out of focus, consent is not necessary.
